My pots are made to be used; they are all microwave and dishwasher safe. Because I fire in three different kilns, my work varies widely in color and texture. So instead of representing multiples of the same item, the pot you see in the photo is the one for sale. Many of my pots vary in color from side to side. These two salt glazed cups are made from a mixture of porcelain and stoneware clay that has given them a silky feel and smooth finish. 5" x 3" each

Stoneware ikebana vase (1208-006)

I put a dark blue glaze on the top of this vase, then sponged it back off, so it only stayed in the grooves created by my cut-off wire, before glazing the whole pot in a celadon. Contains a stainless steel pin frog. 2" x 4.5"

The colors on this serving bowl are quiet and understated, ranging from soft gray to blue. The variation is due to a sprayed undercoat of several colors, covered by an ash glaze. 5" x 9.5"

This small salt glazed pitcher ranges from brown to blue. This variation results from my spraying colored slips on the leather hard work. 5.5" x 3"

Salt glazed ikebana vase (1208-005)

This ikebana vase has a stainless steel pin frog epoxied in the base. These pots are made upside down, so the top edge is formed by the cut-off wire against the wheel-head. 2" x 5"

Pedestal bowl (0508-008)

I make bowls with pedestals by throwing the body of the bowl, trimming it when leather hard, then attaching a ring of clay and throwing the pedestal base. This one was then textured with a wiggle wire.

This medium salt glazed vase was decorated with blue slip applied with a sponge that I cut into a geometric pattern. 8" tall x 4" wide.
