Set of four bowls (1107-025)
$140.00
This set of four porcelain salt glazed bowls are not identical in size and color. Although I am capable of reasonably exact repetition, I no longer enjoy throwing that way. So my "sets" tend to be more like cousins than twins. ($36 each) 3" tall x 6.5" wide.

Bowl (1107-008)
$52.00
A medium sized blue bowl whose variation in color was created by spraying underglaze colors. This bowl is a great size for serving side dishes during a meal. 4" tall x 7" wide

|
Platter (1107-010)
$78.00
I decorated this low wide bowl with a blue salt slip, applied with a sponge cut into a pattern. The background color is just my clay, Highwater Phoenix, fired in salt. 3" tall x 10" wide.

|
Porcelain bowl (1107-015)
$48.00
A porcelain bowl done in a glaze that I got from my friend Chuck Brome. This glaze has a robin's egg blue to teal color depending on whether it is on porcelain or stoneware clay. 3" tall x 7" wide.

|
Pedestal bowl (0508-008)
$80.00
I make bowls with pedestals by throwing the body of the bowl, trimming it when leather hard, then attaching a ring of clay and throwing the pedestal base. This one was then textured with a wiggle wire.
3" x 8.5"

Blue porcelain bowl (0508-003)
$70.00
Porcelain sprayed with slips made from the clay body and added colors can develop a lustrous depth of field. This bowl caught an especially lucky coating of salt that varies from soft to bright blue.
5" x 8"

Two bowls (1208-001)
$64.00
1208-001
These two stoneware cereal bowls are similar in size and decoration. The color pattern results from applying a first coat of Shaner Red, then painting the pattern in wax. After the wax dries, a second coat of ash glaze is applied. 3" x 7"

|
Salt glazed bowl (0709-007)
$88.00
The colors on this salt glazed serving bowl include orange and golden brown -- my favorite color range in salt. This is a generous sized bowl that would hold a salad or main entree. 5"x10"
